Colonia Restorative Dentistry

Bringing Health and Function Back When You Need it Most

Dr. Patel cares for her patients with a proactive and diagnostic approach that helps keep treatment and costs as conservative as possible. By intervening care onto areas while they are small, healthy tooth structure can be preserved, and fewer dental visits are needed over a person’s span of care. Our oral needs vary person by person, depending on current and previous oral health needs. To help return our patients’ smiles to full function and appearance, we offer the following restorative techniques:

Colonia Tooth Color Fillings

Tooth-colored fillings require less tooth preparation and thereby are more conservative restorations than traditional metal fillings. They are also shaded to match surrounding enamel so that they cannot be seen when you smile, talk, or laugh.

Colonia Porcelain Dental Inlays & Onlays

Inlays and onlays are sometimes called a three-quarter crown, because they restore a portion of the tooth that is larger than what a filling can treat, but does not completely cover the entire tooth the way a crown does. It continues to preserve natural tooth structure when possible.

Bridges & Crown Treatment Avenel & Colonia

Porcelain or gold crowns are placed over teeth when they are broken down or decayed past the point of being restored with other types of treatments. Crowns help teeth function normally and keep them healthy for years. If one or two teeth are missing, then a bridge can be placed in that area, which is similar to having three or four crowns fused to one another, and then mounted on healthy supporting teeth. This “bridges” the gap where the missing teeth once were.

Colonia Dental Implants Dentistry

We restore existing dental implants and have a close relationship with a dental implant surgeon. This relationship allows us to be active in the entire treatment planning process, provide placement of final restorations, and manage the timeline of patient care. Implants can be used to replace single, multiple, or all teeth at one time.
